The
college has been growing steadily in strength and with quality
in education. The students of this college are known for their
noble qualities and gentle behavior. In 1984, the Government of
Karnataka passed an order to bifurcate the college into Arts and
Science separately as the strength increased to nearly three
thousand. The bifurcation was essential for efficient
administration. Since then, both Sahyadri Arts College and
Sahyadri Science College are growing into separate entities. The
Science College responds very well to the growing needs of
modern needs of education in the field of Science. |
