AIM:

The workshop was arranged to meet the growing demand from the FAEA scholars who have the aspiration to appear for Civil services and other competitive examinations. It is an endeavor to orient and empower these students to face the examination with more confidence.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WORKSHOP:

One of the objectives of the work shop was to enlighten the students about career opportunities available in different fields and especially in the Civil services. The students got an opportunity to interact with highly distinguished and renowned resource persons from various walks of life. Care was taken to make the entire workshop a holistic one. The ambience  of the ECC centre perfectly suited the purpose with natural green surrounding. A total of 50 students from all over India participated in the workshop.  Dr. B.C. Patil, Chief Co-ordinator, Pathwyas Project, Sahyadri Science College, Shimoga  and Prof. Rani Srinivas were the camp co-ordinators.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE SESSION

The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Abid Hussein, Member Governing Council, FAEA, Delhi and former senior IAS fellow  and ambassador  to US. Dr. A.  Padmanabhan, former Governor of Mizoram and Senior IAS fellow, Prof. V.R. Mehtha, Member Secretary, FAEA, Delhi and former  Vice Chancellor of Delhi University. Sr. Philomena Cardoza, Principle of Jyothinivas College, Bangalore and Dr. B.C. Patil, Chief Co-ordinator, Pathways Project, Sahyadri Science, College were present on the occasion.
